Study Permit update

The Canadian Government is coming up with welcoming changes to help students who want to study in Canada. Some of the additional support initiated by IRCC are as follows: • Processing study permits for students who have submitted a complete application as soon as possible • Introducing a two-stage approval process for those who cannot submit a completed application but wish to begin their studies online, • Allowing students to begin studying online while still overseas The IRCC will also pre-approve incomplete international student’s application for a study permit, as long as they meet basic eligibility criteria. • Have a letter of acceptance from a Canadian designated learning institute • Can demonstrate proof of enough funds to support themselves in Canada • Meet all other study permit requirements One of the unique aspects of the Canadian study permit is that it provides an opportunity to work with a post-graduation work permit. To obtain PGWP students must complete all classes of the course in person, however, IRCC is now considering the courses taken online to qualify for PGWP. Due to all the above-stated initiatives, there is a rapid rise in the influx of applications for international student programs. We provide an all-embracing consultation and recommendation based on your personal circumstance and choice.
